September 2019 - Hood River, atnanasbeach, Pacific City, Moab, Goosenecks

September is my favorite month...and 2019 was no exception.  No matter where we are or what we are doing, September means a trip to our home away from home, Pacific City, Oregon.  And, our kids and grandkids all come for one week!  It's hard to get us all together in one place, but when we can do it, it's the best week!

But first, we stock up on fresh peaches in Hood River at Mt. View Orchards.  Yum!

We left the beach, worn out but oh so happy, as always.  We feel very lucky to have really great kids and really wonderful grandkids!

We headed home from the beach to prepare for our trip to Albuquerque, NM for the Balloon Fiesta.  Upon getting home we discovered that the back window of Gracie Lou was busted out!  We had some help with a local glass shop and with our temporary plexiglass window, off we went, through Utah and down through Monument Valley...dry camping at Goosenecks State Park.  In hindsight, what a crazy month it was!
